Brandeis Soccer Final Four Central

The Brandeis men's and women's soccer teams made history this season, as the Judges became just the ninth program in Division III history - and the first from New England - to send both teams to the NCAA Division III Final Four in the same season. Brandeis made the trek to Salem, Virginia, during the first weekend of December.

Though the Judges didn't get the results they were hoping for - the men dropped a 1-0 decision to Calvin (Michigan) in the semifinals, while the women lost a 2-1 contest to UAA rivals Washington-St. Louis - it was still a crowning achievement for the team's long-time head coaches. For Mike Coven, in his 44th year, it was the team's fourth trip to the Final Four, but first since 1984. For Denise Dallamora, the only head coach in the women's 37-year history, it was the first-ever trip to the ultimate weekend of the season.
