Adam Levin is in his 28th year as a sports information director, including the last 22 at his alma mater. He is a 1994 graduate of Brandeis with B.A.s in psychology and theatre arts, and in 2021 earned an M.S. in Digital Marketing and Design from Brandeis's Graduate Professional School. As an undergrad, Levin was a four-year work-study intern in the sports information department and manager of the baseball team. He served as a public relations intern for the Boston Red Sox in 1994 and 1995 before becoming sports information director at Bates College in Lewiston, Maine. After seven years at Bates, Levin returned to Brandeis in August of 2002. He has served as host of nine NCAA Division III regionals in his career, as well as three NCAA National Collegiate championships: skiing in 1999 and fencing in 2004 and 2016. Brandeis has had 15 CoSIDA Academic All-Americans and three Sports Illustrated Faces In the Crowd during his tenure at Brandeis.

In 2015, he earned the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Fred Stabley Award for Top Regional Coach/Historical Profile for his profile Jordan Zides '15: Miracle on the Sidelines. Since 2018, he has served on CoSIDA's Academic All-America Committee as a Regional Coordinator. In 2021, he earned the CoSIDA 25-Year Award for his service in the sports information profession.

Levin was named a winner of the Eastern College Athletic Conference Sports Information Director's (ECAC-SIDA) Irving Marsh Award in 2020. The award is given to ECAC-SIDA members who, in the opinion of the membership and Executive Board, have exhibited excellence in the field of sports information. The awards are presented annually at the spring workshop. First presented in 1966, the awards are named after Irving T. Marsh, the ECAC Service Bureau founder and director until his retirement in 1973.

On April 29th, 2019, Levin set a record for the highest runner-up score in the history of the game show Jeopardy!, finishing with $53,999, $18 behind James Holzhauer.
