In her role as the Associate AD, Kim oversees the areas of fiscal and IT operations for the department. She oversees all institutional reporting for Athletics and coordinates with Procurement, Human Resources, Financial Affairs & Treasury and Information Technology Services on campus.

Kim was the head coach of the Brandeis volleyball team from 2004-2013, amassing a record of 172-177. She was appointed in the summer of 2004, after spending five seasons as an assistant coach. She has led the Judges to five ECAC Tournaments, including back-to-back titles in 2006 and 2007 and an appearance in the finals in 2012. A 1996 graduate of Binghamton University, Kim served as an assistant for two years at Stony Brook University before joining the Brandeis staff in 1999. In that time, she helped lead the Judges to a 108-84 record. The squad made four ECAC tournament appearances in that time, including a 27-15 record and a berth in the ECAC finals in 2003, tying the school record for wins in a season at the time.

As a player at Binghamton from 1993-96, Kim was a four-year starter and two-year captain. She helped the squad to its first-ever conference title and NCAA appearance, reaching the New York Regional semifinals.
