Coach Bill Shipman’s Judges rolled to the men’s title by 20 points over Sacred Heart, while the women edged Boston College by two to lead Brandeis to the overall crown. The Judges won three different weapons, led by men’s sabre, which went 33-1. Men’s foil edged SHU on tiebreakers with 31-3 record, while women’s foil went 40-3. Julian Cardillo ’14 won the men’s foil and Adam Mandel  ’15 took the men’s sabre, while Caroline Mattos ’16 earned silver in the women’s foil. All three names would crop up later in the season at the NCAA championships.
