Golfers finish 10th at rain-shortened NYU-Manhattanville Invite

MAMARONECK, N.Y. -- Junior Charles Sacks (Phoenix, Ariz./Jess Schwartz) had his third top-10 finish of the season, shooting a three-over-par 75 at the NYU-Manhattanville Invitational. The Judges finished in a tie for 10th out of 12 squads with a team score of 324 in the tournament, which was shortened from two days to one because of inclement weather.

This was the third time this season that Sacks was the team's low scorer, most on the team. Unfortunately, the Judges only put one other player in the top half of the results. Sophomore Aaron Cusato (San Diego, Calif./Point Loma) tied for 30th with a round of 81 (+9). Classmate Scott Beaulac (Longmeadow, Mass./Longmeadow) was just behind in a tie for 37th with an 82 (+10). Senior Lee Bloom (West Harford, Conn./Loomis Chaffee) was the squad's final scorer, placing 57th with an 86 (+14).
