The Brandeis University baseball team has been selected as the No. 4 seed in the ECAC Division III New England Championship tournament. The Judges will take on 5th-seeded Rivier College on May 7. With a start time of 6:00 p.m., it will be the first home night game in Brandeis baseball history.
On Sunday, April 13, Brandeis University Department of Athletics and the Friends of Brandeis Athletics (FOBA) will induct its 12th class into the Brandeis Athletic Hall of Fame. Seven individuals and one team will earn the most prestigious of Brandeis awards.
Four members of the Brandeis University baseball team have been selected to the University Athletic Association All-League team. Rookie left fielder Tony Deshler of Pepperell, Mass., earned first-team honors and was selected as the UAA Rookie of the Year. He was joined on the first team by sophomore second baseman John O'Brion of Portland, Maine. Junior 1B Nick Gallagher of Southboro, Mass., and sophomore catcher Artie Posch of Hopedale, Mass., were both second-team selections.
