Academic/Extracurricular: Pre-med student majoring in Spanish... Member of Brandeis's club volleyball team... High School: Played three sports at Half Hollow Hills High School West in Dix Hills, N.Y.... Played middle blocker in volleyball and ran sprints for indoor track team in addition to being a three-year starter on the Colts baseball team at pitcher and shortstop... Served as a captain as a senior... Half Hollow Hills West won Section XI league championship during his senior year... Was a member of the Palomino East Zone champions and reached the semifinals of the PONY World Series in Caguas, Puerto Rico, in 2006... Volunteered with Special Olympics and was part of school's athlete mentoring program.
