2010: Missed entire season due to elbow surgery… 2009: Went 5-5 in 13 appearances (10 starts)… Led team in wins and topped starters with a 4.58 ERA… Also led team with 56 strikeouts and 74.2 innings pitched… Walked just 21 batters… Tossed four complete games… Earned the win in Brandeis's second game of the season, a 19-15 affair against NAIA Hastings University on Feb. 19 in Arizona… Dominated Washington University, 3-1, on March 10 to earn first win of the season in just his third collegiate start… Tossed a complete-game four-hitter to defeat the Bears, striking out seven with no walks or extra-base hits… On March 26 against Salve Regina, had a productive outing on the hill and at the plate… Struck out the only batter he faced in the top of the ninth… Drive home the game-winning run in the bottom of the frame as the Judges rallied for a 7-6 win… In six starts the rest of the way, never pitched less than 6.2 innings… Earned second complete game with seven innings of five-hit ball against Springfield, March 28, in the first game of a double-header… After going 6.2 innings in a loss to Fitchburg State on April 2, lost back-to-back games despite tossing 8.2 innings each against Tufts and WPI… Gave up 23 hits total in the two games, but allowed just four run in each… The Judges scored just once as he suffered back-to-back losses… Rallied on April 23 against UMass Boston to throw nine innings of seven-hit ball, fanning six and walking none in a 9-2 victory… Struck out a career-high eight hitters in his final appearance, a 6-5 walk-off loss to Bowdoin on April 29… At the plate as a 1B/DH, went 18-76 (.237) with 12 RBI, nine runs scored, a double and a home run… Hit first career round tripper in 17-8 loss to Keene State, April 5…  2008: Versatile player saw time mostly as a pitcher and designated hitter, but also played some third base and outfield…On the hill, led team with 19 appearances, all but one out of the bullpen, and a 3.23 earned-run average, posting a 2-4 record with three saves… Struck out 21 and walked just six in 30.2 innings of work… Picked up first collegiate save by retiring the side in 10-7 win over Emory on March 15 that helped clinch a share of the UAA title… Also shut the door on UMass-Dartmouth on March 29, striking out two of the five batters he faced, including one with the bases loaded and two down in the eighth in a 9-8 win… Also went 4-for-5 with an RBI double, having started the game at third base… Retired all 10 batters he faced in 3.1 innings against Tufts, April 8, to earn his first collegiate win, fanning three… Win number two was a significant one as well, coming in head coach Pete Varney's 600th career win, April 21 against UMass-Dartmouth… In his only start of the season, tossed 8.1 innings of four-hit ball with six strikeouts and just one walk as the Judges topped the Corsairs, 6-0… Did not allow a hit through the first 5.2 frames… At the plate, hit .330, fifth-best on the team, with a .395 on-base percentage, good for third… Had four doubles and 18 RBI… His 5-for-6 performance against Johnson & Wales on April 17 was tied for most hits in a game by a Brandeis player… Drove in three runs and scored three in that contest…Had the Judges' only hit in a 1-0 loss to eventual national champion Trinity College in game one of a doubleheader, April 27… Academic/Extracurricular: Health: Science, Society and Policy and American Studies double major… High School: Two-year letter-winner and starter at Walpole High School… Served as the Rebels' captain as a senior… Led the squad to back-to-back Bay State League championships during junior and senior seasons… As a senior, earned first-team Bay State League honors and second-team Boston Herald all-star honors as a third baseman… Was a Daily Transcript all-star as both a junior and senior… Also played first base and pitched during his career and played for two seasons on the football team… Volunteered with VistaCare Hospice.
