My favorite athletic moment at Brandeis has been: Starting at 1B and batting clean-up against Tufts. For a kid my size, that’s something I hold dearly to my heart. 

The most important thing I have learned from coach Varney is: Hard work translates on and off the field.

My favorite class or professor at Brandeis is: Financial Economics with Jens Hilscher because the stock market intrigues me and he made class fun and interactive.

My favorite pro or college sports team is: The Boston Bruins. I love watching hockey because of its fast pace.

AND MORE: As a sophomore, played in 25 games with 20 starts at four different positions (9 at 1B, 4 at LF, 4 at RF, 3 at 2B)… Tied for second in stolen bases… Eight multi-hit games tied for third on team… Was successful in both pinch-hitting appearances… Went 3-4 with an RBI, run scored, and a double in first career start, a 9-7 loss at Salve Regina, 3/22/12… Drew three walks in wild 14-13 win over Umass Dartmouth, 4/9/12, including leadoff walk in the ninth that provided the tying run… Went 2-5 with two runs scored in a 14-7 win over Bowdoin, 4/25/12… Double major in anthropology and economics.
