Khoury named second team All-UAA

WALTHAM, Mass. — Brandeis University baseball rookie third baseman Mike Khoury of East Bridgewater, Massachusetts, has earned second-team All-University Athletic Association honors.  

Khoury led the team with a .309 batting average, four home runs and 27 runs scored, while finishing second with eight extra-base hits and third with 16 RBI. Khoury also led the team with .489 slugging percentage – 6th in the UAA - and .447 on-base percentage – 7th in the league. His four home runs tied for third in the conference, while his 23 walks finished fifth. Khoury finished in the top 10 in the league in all three percentage categories in UAA games (.328 BA, 7th; .431 OBP, 8th; .500 slugging, 8th). He had eight multi-hit games – hitting safely in 12 of the team's 16 UAA contests - while posting four multi-RBI performances this season. Khoury ended his season scoring a run in the final six games, nine of the last 10 and 14 of the last 16.

Khoury is a 2017 graduate of East Bridgewater High School.
