Chris Morris joined the Brandeis baseball coaching staff in 2018 as pitching coach after spending his previous three years at MIT. 

Morris spent two years prior to joining the MIT staff as an assistant baseball and football coach at Husson University, his alma mater. With the baseball team, he was in charge of pitcher development and strength and conditioning work. Since 2016, he has served as the head coach of the Sanford Mainers of the New England Collegiate Baseball League (NECBL) and in 2016, he led the Moose to the NECBL Northern Division Title and was named as the Joel Cooney Manager of the Year for his efforts.

He also previously served as a pitching coach with the Sanford Mainers and was the head coach and general manager of the American Legion team in Brewer, Maine (2009-12), winning back-to-back Zone 1 Championships in 2010 and 2011.

A 2010 graduate of Husson, he was a four-year letter-winner and a team captain with the baseball squad while lettering twice in football for the Eagles. Morris earned an M.Ed. from Endicott College in 2014.
