WALTHAM, Mass. – Four Brandeis University players scored in double figures, paced by rookie forward Terrell Hollins's (Springfield, Mass.) double-double off the bench, as the Judges defeated visiting Suffolk University, 87-60, to improve to 3-0 for the first time since the 1998-99 season.

Brandeis (3-0) was paced by Hollins's career-highs of 19 points and 11 rebounds. He shot seven-for-13 from the floor with five free throws. Six of his rebounds came on the offensive glass. The Judges also got 14 points from junior forward Steve DeLuca (Merrimack, N.H.), 12 points and a game-high five assists from junior guard Kwame Graves-Fulgham (Amherst, Mass.) and a career-best 11 points off the bench from rookie Kenny Small (Stratford, Conn.).

The Judges' bench proved to be a big difference in the contest, as they outscored the Rams' reserved by a whopping 51-7 margin and outrebounded them by 29-8, thanks to Hollins and 10 boards from junior Stephen Hill (Brighton, Mass.). Overall, Brandeis won the war on the boards, 53-37.

Suffolk (1-2) was paced by 18 points each from sophomore Brian Small (Stoughton, Mass.) and senior John Murphy (No. Reading, Mass.). Small was six-for-20 from the floor with a pair of trifectas and was four-for-six from the line. Murphy hit a game-high five 3-pointers, but needed 13 attempts to get them. He also led the Rams with four assists. Junior forward Chris MacDonald (Brewster, Mass.) pulled down a team-best nine rebounds, six offensive.

After hitting five of their first seven shots to take an early 15-9 lead, Suffolk finished at just 28 percent overall from the floor (20-72). The Rams took 38 shots from beyond the arc, hitting on 11 of them.

Brandeis is next in action on Sunday when they host Tufts University, ranked No. 12 in the nation, at 3:00 p.m. Suffolk's next contest is against MIT at home on Saturday at 2:00 p.m.
