WALTHAM, Mass. - Men's Basketball came up short on Friday night as they fell to #25 University of Rochester by a score of 75-66. Brandeis falls to 4-11 overall, 0-4 in the UAA.

Brandeis trailed the whole game, coming as close as 33-31 with four minutes to play in the first half. The Yellowjackets broke the game open late in the first as they went into the locker room up 46-37. It was a Rochester controlled second half as the Judges were not able to overcome the Yellowjacket lead. Down 16 at the 5:40 mark, Brandeis fought back, going on an 8-0 run. However, it was too late as Rochester held off the Judges for a 75-66 final.

The Judges scoring was spread out as they stayed alive for much of the game via the three-pointer. Brandeis shot 10-20 from three, with sophomores Eric D'Aguanno (Saunderstown, R.I./Saint Andrews) and Collin Sawyer (New London, Conn./New London) accounting for seven of them. Sawyer led the Judges with 14 points, followed by Lawrence Sabir (Providence, R.I./LaSalle Academy) who tallied 12, adding seven assists and four rebounds. Chandler Jones (Springfield, Mass./Springfield Commonwealth Academy) also reached double figures with 10 points on the night.

Rochester was led by junior Ryan Clamage who tallied 19 points on 6-9 shooting, 3-4 from beyond the arch. Jacob Urban led Rochester defensively as he collected 10 rebounds and added a pair of blocks.

Brandeis looks for their first conference win on Sunday as they host Emory University at 12pm.
