Newton, Mass. – The Brandeis University Men's soccer team
posted its fourth shut-out victory in a row as they defeated Lasell
College, 8-0, on the road. The Judges have a combined total of 21
goals scored in the last four games.
Brandeis (9-5-3) had three players involved in the scoring.
Sophomore Ben Premo (Florence, Mass.) paced the Judges with three
goals and two assists while senior midfielder Yuval Ezer (Netanya,
Israel) contributed three goals and one assist. Senior Mike Snyder
finished out the scoring with two goals making it eight goals
during the four-game Brandeis winning streak.
Lasell (12-5) had 10 shots in the game, getting five on net. Junior
goalkeeper Eddie DeGurski (Medford, Mass.) had a busy day making 16
saves in the losing effort.
Brandeis travels to Washington University in St. Louis and the
University of Chicago for UAA play this weekend. Lasell kicks off
it's postseason with a North Atlantic Conference quarterfinal match
against Becker College.
