HOW IT HAPPENED

- Brandeis turned up the pressure in the second half, outshooting WashU, 13-10, but could not find the back of the net.
- The Judges' best chance came in the 78th minute, when they drew their only corner of the second half. Senior Andrew Allen (Norfolk, Mass./King Phillip Regional) had his initial shot blocked, and rookie Jared Panson (West Windsor, N.J. / Pennington School) had a rebound cleared off the line by the Bear defense.
