Bennett, Liu win twice, but men's swimming and diving falls to Keene State

KEENE, N.H. -- Despite a pair of wins each from sophomore Aaron Bennett (Setauket, N.Y.) and junior James Liu (Longmeadow, Mass.), the Brandeis men's swimming and diving team could not overcome Keene State. The Judges dropped a 172-122 decision to the Owls.

Bennett captured both butterfly events. He won the 100-yard fly in 53.12 seconds - improving to eighth on Brandeis's all-time top 10 list - and the 200 in 2:01.71. Liu was victorious in the 200-yard freestyle (1:48.18) and the 200 individual medley (2:06.57). Liu also teamed with junior Jesse Hershman (Hamden, Conn.), senior Robert Morse (Hope, R.I.) and senior Mike Rubin (Bangor, Maine) to win the 400-yard free relay in 3:22.47.
