No. 30 men's tennis falls to No. 13 Trinity College

HARTFORD, CONN. – The Brandeis men's tennis squad fell 7-2 to the Trinity College, ranked No. 13 in the nation by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Division III poll.  The Judges fall to 9-6 on the season while the Bantams improve to 6-3.

Brandeis seniors Nick White (Wellesley, Mass./Wellesley) and Simon Miller (Plantation, Fla./Plantation), ranked No. 5 in the Northeast, had the only Judges' win in doubles action, topping Ansan McCook (Miami, Fla./Ransom Everglades) and Rich Bonfiglio (Bronxville, N.Y./Bronxville), 8-6 in a close match.  Sophomore Josh Jordan (Northboro, Mass./Algonquin Regional) picked up a win in the fifth position in singles over Charles McConnell (New York, N.Y./Salisbury (Conn.)), defeating him 7-6 (3), 6-2. White put up a fight in the first seed, sending his contest to a tie breaker before falling to McCook, 7-6 (7), 6-2.

The Judges are in action again on Tuesday when they travel to Rhode Island to take on Bryant University. 

Trinity's next match is April 14, when they host the Coast Guard Academy.
