#32 men's tennis falls to Boston College, 5-2

WALTHAM, Mass. - The #32 Brandeis men's tennis team saw its six-game winning streak come to an end with 5-2 loss at Division-I Boston College this afternoon. The Judges fall to 8-4, while the Eagles improve to 6-14.

The Judges took the point in doubles action despite dropping the first match.

Rookie Jackson Kogan (Pacific Palisades, Calif./ Windward School) and senior Danny Lubarsky (Cleveland, Ohio/ Hawken School) took the No. 2 match, 7-6, and sophomore Eric Goldberg (Solon, Ohio/ Solon) and junior Brian Granoff (Miami, Fla./ Gulliver Prep) won at No. 3, also 7-6.

Boston College dominated in singles action, winning five of the six matches. Junior Michael Arguello (Brentwood, Tenn./Brentwood) got the lone point for the Judges, winning 6-7, 7-6, 6-3 at No. 3.


Brandeis will look to bounce back this coming Wednesday, April 13, at Tufts at 3:00 PM.
