The Brandeis men's tennis tandem of sophomore David Aizenberg and rookie Anupreeth Coramutla will head to California to represent the Judges May 24-26.
Jackson Kogan won at No. 2 singles and doubles, but the Spartans took three third sets to earn the win. Brandeis finishes the regular season at 14-5, their best under head coach Ben Lamanna and the highest win total since 2000-01.
After reaching their highest national ranking under head coach Ben Lamanna, the Judges knocked off the Beavers behind a pair of wins from sophomore David Aizenberg.
Anupreeth Coramutla and David Aizenberg helped complete the Judges' doubles sweep, but the host Sagehens won five of six singles matches to take the win.
After winning his second doubles title of the fall and reaching the singles finals, David Aizenberg was named UAA Athlete of the Week for the second time. He was joined this week by Noah Gans of men's tennis.
