WALTHAM, Mass. — Coming off the team's best season in nearly than three decades, six of the seven starters on the Brandeis University men's tennis team have earned All-University Athletic Association honors.

The Judges finished the season with a 14-5 record and ranked No. 14 in Division III, both the best marks since the 1989 squad that was recently inducted into the Brandeis Hall of Fame.

Earning first-team honors for the Judges was the No. 1 doubles team of sophomore David Aizenberg (Highland Park, Ill./Highland Park) and rookie Anupreeth Coramutla (Monroe Township, N.J./Phillips Andover). The duo, who were recently selected as Brandeis's first NCAA tournament doubles team since 1989, were ranked fourth in the Northeast Region in the most recent NCAA Regional Rankings to earn one of 16 slots in the tournament. The pair were 25-6 overall in 2017-18, including 13-5 in dual matches and 12-1 during the fall tournament season. Their 24 wins against Division III opponents were the most of any UAA doubles team this year, as were their 12 wins at No. 1. They won tournaments at Bates and MIT and were runners-up at Middlebury. Four of their six losses this season came to other NCAA tournament duos, with another coming to one-half of a qualifying tandem. Aizenberg and Coramutla will compete at the NCAA Division III Doubles Championships starting next Thursday, May 24.

Earning second-team singles honors were a pair of rookies, Rajan Vohra (Glen Head, N.J./North Shore) and Nikhil Das (Smithfield, R.I./Moses Brown School). The two had previously earned All-Tournament honors from the UAA at No. 3 doubles.

Vohra posted a 14-9 record overall, 10-5 in dual-match season. He was 6-3 at No. 3 and 3-1 at No. 4 during the season. He won five-straight matches at one point, including a three-setter against UAA rival NYU on April 7.

Das was 13-7 overall, 11-3 in dual matches, including 5-1 at No. 4 and 5-2 at No. 5. He had a seven-match winning streak that included four victories over opponents from nationally-ranked teams, including the team's only singles point in a 6-3 loss to #2-ranked Bowdoin.

Rounding out the All-UAA selections was the No. 2 doubles team of juniors Jackson Kogan (Pacific Palisades, Calif./Windward School) and Tyler Ng (Great Neck, N.Y./Great Neck North). The duo put together a remarkable 14-2 record during the dual match season for the fourth-highest winning percentage among any UAA doubles team with at least eight matches played. They went 6-2 against opponents from nationally-ranked teams, including wins over opponents from national quarterfinalists from Bowdoin and Washington University.
