WALTHAM, Mass. – Brandeis men's track and field senior Alex Kramer of No. Andover, Mass., has been named the University Athletic Association men's track and field Athlete of the Week for the week ending January 14.

Kramer was named UAA Athlete of the Week for the second time this season for his performance at the 2013 Dartmouth Relays in Hanover, N.H., on January 13. Kramer finished sixth in the mile run with a time of 4:17.74, placing sixth for the only point scored by the Judges in the meet. His time is currently the top-ranked time in the UAA and fourth in all of NCAA Division III this season. Kramer had run a faster time (4:17.35) at Northeastern on December 1, when he earned his first UAA Athlete of the Week honor, but the conversion for the banked track at Northeastern ranks behind his current time.
