WALTHAM, Mass. -- At the final indoor track and field meets of 2014-15 - for all but one Brandeis competitor - the Judges turned in a handful of fine performances at the ECAC Division III meet at the Armory in New York City and at the Tufts Last Chance Meet.

At ECACs, the team's top performance came from sophomore Ashley Piccirillo-Horan (North Granby, Conn./Granby Memorial), who was the runner-up in the 1,000-meter run to earn All-ECAC honors with a personal best of 3:02.31. The 1,000 is not an NCAA Championship event. RookieKyra Shreeve (Northborough, Mass. / Algonquin Reg.)  was 18th in the event with a p.r. of 3:04.96. Senior Kristi Pisarik (Chelmsford, Mass./Chelmsford) was 20th in the mile run with a time of 5:16.16. Two women also ran in the 3,000m, with sophomores Kate Farrell (Windham, N.H./Windham) and Lydia McCaleb (Evanston, Ill. / Evanston Township) placing 12th and 18th with times of 10:26.55 and 10:30.60, both career-bests.

For the men, senior Mo Sidique (Harlem, N.Y./St. Raymond School for Boys) just missed his first trip to indoor nationals after finishing in sixth place. His initial jump of 14.27 meters (46 feet, 10 inches) proved two-and-three-quarters of an inch shy of the top 15 in Division III that qualified for the NCAA Championships.

Classmate Jarret Harrigan (Ipswich, N.Y./St. Johns Prep) competed in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 8:48.82, placing him 16th overall.

The Judges' two competitors at Tufts were both in the mile run. Junior Grady Ward (Essex Junction, Vt./Essex) ran a 4:22.51 for a 6th place finish for the men, while classmate Kelsey Whitaker (Kingston, Mass./Notre Dame Acad.) ran 5:15.18 - not an improvement on her best time of the season, but she was still able to qualify for nationals
