The tandem of rookie Henry McDonald (Weymouth, Mass. / Weymouth) and senior captain Adam Berger (Concord, N.H. / Concord) had a solid day at the sandpit. McDonald long jumped 6.31m (20-8 ½), his best effort yet as a collegian and the 7th-best indoor UAA effort of the season. Berger long-jumped 6.23m (20-5 ¼), just missing his p.r. by 1 cm.  In the triple jump, Berger hit 12.57m (41-3) and McDonald 12.47m (40-11). At the shot put circle, senior Kevin Trotman (Bristol, Conn. / Taft School) set a p.r. throwing 11.96m (39-3) and placing 7th.

After competing the day before, rookie Regan Charie (Topsfield, Mass. / Masconomet Reg.) equaled his p.r. in the 60m dash, racing to 7.31 seconds. Berger returned to the track for the first time in a month and ran 23.87 seconds in the 200m, winning his heat and setting a p.r. Following Berger, sophomore Adam Beckwith (Arlington, Mass. / Concord Carlisle) ran 24.58 seconds in the 200m and set a 5 second p.r. in the 400m, crossing the line in 53.52 seconds.  Beckwith was joined by McDonald for his 200m/400m double on the track.  McDonald finished in 23.71 seconds and 52.37 seconds (indoor p.r.), respectively.

In the mile, six men raced in Brandeis stripes, gearing up for the UAA Championships in less than a week.
