2010 — Kelley played in 24 games in the 2010 season as she was significantly limited by an ankle injury around the halfway point. At the time, Kelley was on the fivegame hit streak and had some banner games while doing so. On March 24th, Kelley went 3-4 on the day in a doubleheader against Suffolk with a homerun, double, and two singles. Two weeks later, Kelley hit a walk-off single in the first game of a doubleheader against WPI game that enacted the eight-run rule to end the game and then a homerun in the second game to do the same. 2009 — Kelley’s inspired defensive play continued into her sophomore year, committing only five errors in 348 chances for a .985 fielding percentage. On the offensive side of things, Kelley amped it up, besting her freshman year batting average by nearly 50 points (.310) while leading the Judges in homeruns (6) and placing second on the team in slugging percentage (.609). Kelley was awarded Player-of-the-Week honors by the UAA Conference the first week of May for hitting .500 with five RBI and 1.083 slugging percentage. During that week, Kelley had the game winning hit against an undefeated Tufts to spoil their perfect season. For her season-long and conference tournament production, Kelley was named to the All-UAA Second Team. 2008 — Kelley started 42 games at firstbase for the Judges her freshman year and committed only six errors in 322 chances for a stellar .981 fielding percent- age. She recorded her first collegiate hit in her first game of her career against New England College. The offensive highlight of Kelley’s freshman season came on March 15th when she hit a tworun homer (her first collegiate) in the bottom of the seventh to break a 1-1 tie against conference foe Washington for the program’s first win against them in at more than three years. High School — Kelley started three of the four years that she was a member of her varsity softball team. Kelley’s team was a District Finalist in 2004 and 2006 and a Semi-Finalist in 2007, when Kelley served as Captain and was a Central Mass All- Star selection. Kelley also spent time on the diamond with her travel team, the Central Mass Sting. In addition to her success on the softball field, Kelley was a standout goalie for her field hockey team where she was honored with numerous accolades, including being named the #1 goalie in the state. In 2005, her team was crowned State Champions Personal — Born Courtney R. Kelley to Dana and Rene Kelley on July 10, 1989. One older brother, Steven. Majoring in Psychology with Minors in Health, Science, Society, and Policy and Anthropology. She spent the summer between her junior and senior years studying abroad in Australia.
