2010 — Porcaro emerged as the starting centerfielder a quarter of the way through the season and never looked back. Playing in 34 games and starting at centerfield in 31 of them, Porcaro’s height and athleticism helped the Judges take away extra-base hits on numerous occasions, making memorable and highlight reel worthy catches straight through the NCAA tournament. She had 29 put-outs and two assists on the season while roving the outfield. At the plate, Porcaro got off to a fast start hitting a towering shot in her first at-bat the season against Pitt-Bradford that allowed her to touch them all. Overall, shit .256 on the year with five doubles and four homeruns and she led the 2010 squad in sacrifice hits with four. She then later went 3-5 against Suffolk on March 24th with two homeruns and a single and tallied a seven-game hit streak midway through the season. 2009 — Porcaro played in 16 games on the year, starting in the outfield for four of them. Porcaro hit .286 in 21 at-bats and went yard for her first collegiate homerun on May 2nd versus Emerson College. High School — Porcaro earned the starting centerfield position her junior and senior years at Shrewsbury High School. In 2006, she and her Colonial teammates won the state championship. Porcaro played summer ball most recently for the Central Mass Rapids. Personal — Born Lauren Elizabeth Porcaro on June 2, 1990 to Michael and Tracey Porcaro. One younger brother, Nicholas, 17, a senior at Saint John’s High School in Shrewsbury. Majoring in Health, Science, Society, and Policy with Minors in Hispanic Studies and Anthropology. She spent the fall semester of her junior year studying abroad in Australia.
