Taylor Lester joins the Brandeis University softball staff for her first season in 2022. 

Lester previously coached for five years as an assistant at Suffolk University. She helped the Rams to one Great Northeast Athletic Conference regular season title and one appearance in the GNAC championship series. She helped develop the 2018 GNAC Rookie and Player of the Year, as well as six All-Conference selections in 2019. After the COVID-shortened 2020 season, Suffolk competed in the Commonwealth Coast Conference in 2021, producing four All-League selections. 

Lester was a four-year player, including a senior captain, at Stonehill College, where she played second base. She batted .280 with a .288 slugging percentage, .311 on-base percentage with 16 RBI and eight stolen bases. Lester earned her Bachelors of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Criminology from Stonehill. She was a four-time NE10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll student and garnered Athletic Director Honor Roll status in her freshman season. She has since earned her Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Suffolk and a Sports Counseling certificate from California University of Pennsylvania.
