In his 14th season on the Judges’ sidelines, Associate Head Coach Scott Foulis has helped Brandeis compile a 174-159 record in his tenure, including two NCAA tournament appearances and the 2014-15 ECAC Division III New England crown. He previously spent three seasons at Springfield College, where he helped guide the Pride to two New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference championships and an average of 20 wins per season. SC owned a 61-25 record in his tenure, including reaching the Elite Eight of the 2005 NCAA tournament.

Before Springfield, Foulis spent one season as the top assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Division I Bucknell University in 2002-03. He also earned Division I experience at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, where he was an assistant from 1995 to 1998, returning in the 2001-02 season. While at UMass, the Minutewomen won one Atlantic-10 championships and made two trips to the NCAA tournament in 1996 and 1998. He also coached two players who were selected in the 2003 WNBA draft.

Foulis has head coaching experience as well, having coached at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts in 2001-02. He also served as an assistant at the University of Rhode Island and Plattsburgh State University.

Foulis earned a degree in sports management from UMass in 1997 and his Masters in athletic administration from Springfield in 2007. He and his wife Jill have three children, Chelsea, 16, Evan, 13, and Colin, 10.
