Junior Zoe Messinger earned consideration for an at-large berth at the NCAA championships by reaching the final pool and placing 11th at the regional held at Boston College.
The Judges dropped three matches to nationally-ranked foes, but picked up a win in all three weapons against the Air Force Academy to earn their only win.
The Brandeis women went 3-3 at the second Northeast Fencing Conference meet of 2012, finishing the season with a 7-5 record in the conference. Sophomore epeeist Leah Mack had the best day of any Brandeis fencer with 12 wins.

Six standout athletes whose careers spanned the first half-century of Brandeis’ sports history will be inducted into the 14th class of the Joseph Linsey Brandeis Athletic Hall of Fame during ceremonies on March 31 in the Gosman Sports and Convocation Center on campus, Director of Athletics Sheryl Sousa ’90 and Friends of Brandeis Athletics (FOBA) President Jim Leahy '85 announced.
