The trio of seniors from the Final Four-bound Judges were named both All-UAA and All-New England. Teammates Lea McDaniel and Julia McDermott were honorable mention All-UAA as well.
Senior midfielder Jessica Morana (Shrewsbury, Mass./Shrewsbury) scored 103 seconds into overtime to give the No. 23 Brandeis University women’s soccer team a thrilling 4-3 victory over top-ranked William Smith College this afternoon in the NCAA Championship Tournament Quarterfinals at Gordon Field in Waltham, Mass.
Samantha Schwartz scored late in regulation to force overtime and Alexis Grossman made two huge saves in the shootout to get Brandeis past the College of New Jersey to the third round for the second year in a row.
Sophomore Hannah Maatallah scored twice in just over three minutes to lead the Judges into the second round for the third year in a row. They meet #5 College of New Jersey tomorrow at 1 p.m.
The Judges travel to New Jersey to take on an opponent from Virginia. Game time has been announced as 1:30 p.m. with tickets $6 for adults, $3 for students with ID and $2 for kids under 12.

The Judges' leading scorer also owns a 3.59 GPA as an economics and HSSP double major. She will now advance to the national ballot for Academic All-America honors.
Haliana Burhans scored a goal with 17 minutes left in regulation, but it wasn't enough to continue the longest single-season unbeaten streak in Brandeis history.
