Judges top Merrimack by a final score of 152-85

WALTHAM, Mass. - The Brandeis University women's swimming and diving team played host to Merrimack College. The Judges topped Merrimack by a final score of 152-85.

 

TOP PERFORMERS - WOMEN

  • Sophomore Kylie Herman (Weston, Fla./Cypress Bay) logged two individual first place finishes in the 200 yard freestyle and 500 yard freestyle with times of 2:02.65 and 5:28.51, respectively.
  • Freshman Natalya Wozab (Plantation, Fla./Saint Thomas Aquinas) also had two individual first place finishes on the day with a time of 1:12.29 in the 100 yard breaststroke and a 2:36.58 in the 200.
  • Freshman Hwanhee Park (Cumberland, Me./Greely) finished first in the 200 yard butterfly with a time of 2:20.66 and first in the 100 yard butterfly with a time of 1:03.29.
  • Freshman Yvette Smith (Gainesville, Fla./Gainesville) had a career meet with three first place finishes in the 50 yard freestyle (26.17), 100 yard freestyle (56.54), and 100 yard IM (1:04.50).
  • The 200 yard medley relay team of Philippa Zheku (Woburn, Mass./Woburn Memorial), Sabrina Greer (Greensboro, N.C./Greensboro Day School), Hwanhee Park, and Yvette Smith finished first with a time of 2:00.27.
  • The 200 yard freestyle relay team of Kylie Herman, Amy Sheinhait (Framingham, Mass./Framingham), Natalya Wozab, and Abby Damsky (New York, N.Y./The Brearley School) finished first with a time of 1:48.91.

 

UP NEXT

The men's and women's teams host Keene State and Bridgewater State tomorrow at 1pm for Senior Day.
