Getting to know Lexi...
My favorite part about competing for Brandeis, other than my teammates, is: The small school atmosphere allows you to have amazing relationships with fellow athletes on different teams, as well as having a close connection with other students in your classes
My favorite athletic moment at Brandeis has been: Having many inter-squad meets allowed the swim team to come together and perform. Even during a crazy time, we were able to make the most of it. It was also a great experience having the opportunity to compete against another school. Even though I was injured, it was amazing to have the team with so much energy
My favorite high school/non-Brandeis athletic moment is: At the County Swimming Championships a few years ago, I was on the last relay which determined if we got the school record, states cut, and won the meet. It was very exhilarating, having all the pressure on the four of us and eventually winning the meet, the first time in over 15 years my school won
My goal for the 2021-2022 season is: To able to swim well after an injury, to swim on relays, and to have a great time swimming and traveling with the team
The thing that attracted me most to Brandeis was: The great team atmosphere and the small classroom settings
My favorite place on campus, outside of Gosman, is: The science center, especially when the sun is setting
My favorite place to travel to is: Europe!!
I want to study abroad in: Europe because I love the different cultures and would love to meet new people from all over the world
Outside of my sports, my favorite thing to do at Brandeis is: Meeting people from all over the world
My summer job/experience was: Taking an EMT class and giving swim lessons
My dream job is: Something to do with medicine because I love to help people
My favorite TV Show is: Grey’s Anatomy
My favorite pro sports team is: NY Islanders and NY Giants, always need to support NY!
