Women drop match to Skidmore, 6-3

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. - The Brandeis women's tennis team dropped a match to #26 Skidmore College, 6-3, this past Sunday.  Skidmore took all three doubles victories while the Judges only picked up three wins all coming in singles matches.  With the loss, the Judges fall to 10-6 on the season while Skidmore gets to 14-4. 

      The three victories came from junior Emily Weisberger (Wayne, N.J./Wayne), Rachel Rosman (Bonita Springs, Fla./Estero), and Ariana Sanai (Hopewell Junction, N.Y./John Jay).  Weisberger started in the fifth spot and produced her 11th victory on the season with the most convincing win for the Judges, 6-0, 6-3.  Rosman grabbed her 19th win of the season as she defeated her opposition in a three setter, 1-6, 6-2, and 6-1.  The third singles match saw Sanai pick up her 10th win of the season in a tight two set match where she got the 7-5, 6-4 victory.  Weisberger, Rosman, and Sanai are all currently on three-match winning streaks. 

      Brandeis will face #29 MIT at home on April 21, at 3:00 p.m. before hosting the UAA Championships beginning on Friday, April 24, at 9:00 a.m.
