In the other flights, rookie Sarah Richman (Sewickly, Pa.) won her first collegiate match, 4-6, 6-2, 7-5, over a foe from Connecticut College to reach the 'C' flight finals before falling to Bowdoin's Brett Richman, 6-2, 6-0. The doubles tandem of sophomore Ria Chadha (Mumbai, India) and rookie Davida Judelson (Woodbridge, Conn.) reached the finals of the doubles flight with a 6-2, 2-6, 7-6 win over a duo from RPI.

As a team, Brandeis finished in second place with 13.5 points, 5.5 behind champions Bowdoin, who won the four flights not won by Rosman.
