MIDDLEBURY, Vt. – The Brandeis women's tennis team, ranked #18 in Division III, was unable to extend their longest winning streak under coach Ben Lamanna, as the Judges fell to #7 Middlebury, 8-1. The Judges were unable to win their seventh in a row as they fall to 8-2, while the Panthers improve to 2-0.

After dropping the first two doubles matches of the day, Brandeis got on the scoreboard at No. 3, with an 8-5 win by sophomores Michele Lehat (Great Neck, N.Y./Great Neck North) and Keren Khromchenko (Manalapan, N.J./Allied Academy of Health and Sciences).
Unfortunately, the Judges were unable to maintain the momentum from the doubles victory, as the Panthers won all six singles matches in straight sets.

Brandeis returns to action on Wednesday, March 29 with a match at Tufts University, ranked #12 in Division III.
