WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – The Brandeis University women's outdoor track and field team had a pair of All-New England performances at the 2017 championships held at Williams College.

Leading the way in one of her last collegiate meets was senior Maddie Dolins (Highland Park, Ill./Highland Park). Dolins finished in fourth place in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 17:44.45. It marked the second year in a row that Dolins has placed fourth at the New England Division III outdoor meet and marked her third career All-Region honor in track and field.

The Judges' only other scorer on the day was sophomore Emily Bryson (Quincy, Mass./No. Quincy). Bryson finished in eighth place in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:37.78, about a second off her season-best time. Bryson took fifth in the 1,500 a year ago at the New England outdoor championships.

Other top performances for the women came from rookie Willa Moen (Ashland, Ore./Ashland) who was 13th in the pole vault (3.22 meters, 10-6 ¾) and junior Jessie Moore (Rye, N.Y./Rye) in the heptathlon, where she finished in 14th place overall, including sixth in the 200 (27.50 seconds) and seventh in the 800 (2:36.61) and the long jump (4.83 meters, 15-10 ¼).

The six points accounted for by Dolins and Bryson helped the Judges finish in 27th place overall.
