WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – Rookie Jac Guerra (Guilford, Conn./Guilford) earned third-place finish this weekend at the 2019 New England Division III Championships at Williams College this weekend. The Judges finished with 14 points to place 19th overall.

Guerra had the team's top overall finish, placing third in the 3,000-meter steeplechase. In only his second time competing in the event in college, Guerra took third in the event with a time of 11:12.85, besting his previous p.r. time by about three seconds.

Rookie Sonali Anderson (Fayetteville, Ga./Whitewater) added a sixth-place finish in the 100-meter hurdles. She ran 15.30 seconds in the prelims to take the sixth seed, then placed sixth with a time of 15.23 seconds, just 0.02 off her own school record.

Senior Doyin Ogundiran (Dix Hills, N.Y./Half Hollow Hills East) was one of two seventh-place finishes for the Judges. She ran a time of 2:14.08, about 0.13 out of sixth place and just two-hundredths of a second ahead of eighth. Though this did not improve her season-best time, she still ranks 14th in Division III with two more meets to go. This was her fourth career All-New England honor.

Sophomore Niamh Kenney (Hanover, Mass./Hanover) placed seventh in the 5,000-meter run. She ran her second-best time of the season in 18:18.87 for her first All-New England honor in track and field.

The 4x800-meter relay team rounded out the All-Region honorees by finishing in eighth place. Seniors Maya Bliss (Williamsburg, Mass./Amherst Regional) and Meaghan Barry (Marlborough, Mass./Worcester Academy) and sophomores Mahala Lavis (Portland, Ore. / Grant) and Andrea Bolduc (Auburn, Mass./Auburn) turned in a time of 9:41.05, finishing three-and-a-half seconds ahead of a team from WPI for All-New England honors.
