BRISTOL, Conn. -- The Brandeis University track and field teams had three competitors in action on the second day at the NEICAAA Championships, featuring the top performers from Division I, II and III.

In the women's 1,500-meter run, senior Andrea Bolduc (Auburn, Mass./Auburn) finished just out of the scoring with a ninth-place finish in a time of 4:45.63. She was third in her heat and just over a second out of the top eight, placing second among Division III competitors. Junior Natalie Hattan (Sugar Land, Texas/Clements) finished just behind Bolduc in 10th place with a time of 4:45.96. This represented a breakthrough for Hattan, who lowered her personal best by five seconds. She had not broken 4:51 in competition prior to this event.

Junior Jacob Grant (Rockville Center, N.Y. / South Side) represented the men in the 800-meter run and placed eighth in his heat and 28th overall with a time of 2:03.38.

The Judges will get one last chance to compete at the aptly-named Tufts Last Chance Meet on May 20.
