The hosts put together a perfect 4-0 record at the Brandeis Volleyball Invitational today with sweeps of Trinity (Conn.) College and Rhode Island College. The Judges topped the Bantams, 25-22, 26-24, 25-16, and downed the Anchorwomen by scores of 25-20, 25-8, 25-17. Sophomore outside hitter Paige Blasco (Greely, Colo.) earned All-Tournament honors for the Judges.
In the final match of the tournament, Brandeis cruised past Rhode Island College, 25-20, 25-8, 25-17. Blasco finished with nine kills to lead the Judges, while Wingenbach and junior right-side Piera Carfagno (Los Angeles, Calif.) had eight each. Junior middle blocker Bridget McAllister (Santa Clara, Calif.) had five aces, and Ruggiero had 10 digs.
