WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. --  The Brandeis women placed 13^th overall at the New England Division III championships at Williams College today.

The Judges were paced by sophomore Marie Lemay (Saco, Maine), who covered the 6K course in 24:08.8 to finish in 41^st place, improving by more than 60 places from her regionals debut in 2007.  Rookie Alyssa Pisarik (Chelmsford, Mass.) took 58^th place in 24:38.3, just ahead of classmate Kate Warwick (Boxborough, Mass.), who was 59^th in 24:39.7. Junior Ally Connolly (Concord, N.H.), the team's top finisher a year ago, was 88^th in 25:15.3, while Pisarik's older sister Beth was 110^th in 25:37.0. The Judges improved five spots from 2007, when they finished in 18^th place.
