Women's x-country takes 20th overall, 6th among D3 at Open New Englands

BOSTON, Mass. -- Brandeis University junior Grayce Selig (Narberth, Pa./Springside School) was the top perfomer for the third time this season for the women's cross country team, placing 46th overall and 11th among Division III performers at the 2009 Open New England Championships at Franklin Park in Boston. Selig completed the 5K course in 18:47. As a team, the Judges were 20th overall and sixth among DIII schools.

Senior Beth Pisarik (Chelmsford, Mass./Chelmsford) was the squad's second finisher, placing 65th overall and 23rd among DIII runners with a time of 19:03. Next up was senior Ally Connolly (Concord, N.H./Concord), who was 117th overall and 42nd in Division III at 19:38. Junior Hannah Lindholm (Madison, Wisc./West) wasn't far behind with a time of 19:46, good for 128th overall and 45th in Division III. Sophomore Molly Shanley (Marshfield, Mass./Marshfield) rounded out the scorers with a time of 20:31 that placed her 194th overall (74th DIII).
