Selig, Warwick earn All-New England honors at NCAA DIII Regionals

Williamstown, Mass.--Brandeis University women's cross country had a fine day today with top runners coming in 23rd and 27th place at the NCAA DIII Regional Cross Country Championships hosted by Williams College.

Senior Grayce Selig (Narberth, Pa./Springside School) finished her 6 kilometer race at the top for the Judges, coming in 23rd place. Her time of 23:08.2 was just a second behind the 22nd place finisher from Wellesley. 

Junior Kate Warwick (Boxborough, Mass./Acton-Boxborough) came in 27th with a time of 23:14.0, senior Marie Lemay (Saco, ME/Thornton Acad.) finished in 45th place with a time of 23:44.7 and her classmate Hannah Lindholm (Madison, Wis./West) finished 85th with a time of 24:48.0.

Also running well for the Judges were rookie Amelia Lundkvist (So. Portland, Maine/Cheverus) with a time of 25:03.8, junior Erin Bisceglia (Durham, Conn./Coginchaug) with a time of 25:13.2 and rookie Victoria Sanford (LaGrangeville, N.Y./Arlington) with a time of 25:20.9.

Selig and Warwick received All-New England selection honors for their top-35 finishes today.

NCAA Championship results are released on Monday, November 15.
