Senior Spotlight: Victor Oppenheimer, Baseball, at the plate

Victor Oppenheimer of West Hills, California, is a four-year starter at shortstop and second base and rare three-time captain of the baseball team. He is one of 18 players in school history with 30 career doubles and is a career .302 hitter. As a junior his 46 runs scored are the eighth-best single season in school history. Victor is also a valuable member of the Brandeis Athletics student-work staff as a building manager.

“Victor has been a very steady player, hitting at the top of the lineup and in the middle for his entire career,” said coach Derek Carlson. “Victor’s positive attitude rubs off on everyone around him.”
