Senior Spotlight: PJ Ross

PJ Ross

Kingston, New Hampshire

Softball

PJ Ross is a four-year starter for the Brandeis softball team, coming up just shy of 100 games played in her career. She split time between third and first base in the field. At the plate, PJ was a career .280 hitter, with 13 doubles, nine home runs and 43 RBI. During the team’s sensational run to the NCAA tournament last year as a junior, PJ had career-high with a .323 batting average and 19 RBI. Off the field, PJ has been named to the Academic All-UAA team each year she has been eligible and is a seven-time Dean’s List student.

“Over four years, PJ's grown to be an exemplary leader for her teammates and has the ability to make anyone feel welcome,” said head coach Emily Kraytenberg. “The team's certainly going to miss her sense of humor, both on and off the field, even more than her knack for getting the job done at the plate.”
