A four-year starter and the team’s ace lefty the past two, Tobin was off to a great start in 2020. He was 3-0 with a 2.10 ERA and 29 strikeouts in 25.2 innings pitched. In his final outing of the season, Tobin struck out 13 Western New England University batters in a seven-inning complete game. For his career, Tobin earned nine wins and had a 4.46 ERA, striking 8.41 batters per nine innings. In the summer before his senior campaign, Tobin joined the Harwich Mariners of the Cape Cod League.
“Greg displays a steady work effort and leads by great example,” said coach Derek Carlson ’91. “He is a fierce competitor, and has the ability to beat anyone we play.“

Favorite athletic moment at Brandeis: Going 5-0 on our Florida trip this year.
My favorite class at Brandeis: Philosophy of Law with Andreas Teuber because he is my favorite professor.
Favorite place on campus outside of Gosman: Sherman
Outside of my sport, my favorite thing to do at Brandeis: Working the basketball games (as a statistician).
After I graduate, I plan to: Hopefully, work in baseball.
Dream Job: MLB Scout.
