Brandon Musto
Brandon Musto was a four-year member of the baseball pitching staff. He made seven appearances and three starts as a freshman, when his older brother Mike was a graduate student, and sophomore before Tommy John surgery kept him off the field the last two seasons. Off the field, he is a three-time Academic All-UAA selection.
“The thing that attracted me most to Brandeis was its story,” Brandon said. “The story behind our school's founding resonated deeply with me. Brandeis is an underdog, and that's the same mentality I have when on the baseball diamond.”
“Brandon has a great moving fastball, and his presence has been missed these past two years,” said head coach Derek Carlson ’91.

Majors: Business and History with a French minor
Favorite part of competing for Brandeis: The tight knit community created by all athletes from all sports. Even if we don't know one another by name, we still give that Gosman nod of recognition.
Favorite athletic moment at Brandeis: Pitching down in Florida for my first collegiate start during my first year
Favorite Professor at Brandeis: Any history class with Professor Paul Jankowski. His WWI class was amazing. I've had three classes with him all focusing on either WWI, WWII, or the time between the wars. Even if you aren't a history major, take one of his classes!
Favorite place on campus, outside of Gosman: Lower Usdan. Gotta get those meal swipes.
The thing I’ll miss most about Brandeis: Everyone knowing we're all in the same boat, so the whole campus is one big community. There are so many opportunities to connect with people from all over the world.
Outside of my sport, my favorite thing to do at Brandeis is: Do homework in the library.
Something unexpected I learned at Brandeis: Professors aren't that scary (usually)
Dream Job: Running my own startup.
Favorite Movie: Inception.
Favorite TV Show: Westworld.
