Jules Love ’55, men’s basketball, is being inducted as a contributor. Love scored the first hoop in Brandeis men’s basketball history in 1953 and has been involved with Brandeis and the sport, both in the U.S. and in Israel, ever since
The 1957 Football team was the most successful in the history of the program, going 6-1, including wins over Northeastern, UMass and New Hampshire
The 1984 men’s soccer team went 17-3 and earned a second-place finish at the NCAA Division III tournament, falling in triple-overtime
Mark Bonaiuto ’77, baseball, was a shortstop and two-time captain, earning All-Greater Boston League honors and helping the 1977 Judges reach the championship game of the NCAA Division III tournament
Michael Goldfarb ’99, men’s swimming and diving, is the first male member of the swimming and diving program inducted. A three-time diving All-American, he still holds all of Brandeis’s records and two University Athletic Association marks
Victoria Petrillo ’99, women’s track and field, is a four-time national champion in the 800-meter run, winning indoor and outdoor titles in 1996 and 1997, while also claiming four other All-America honors
Rashad Williams ’02, men’s basketball, became Brandeis’s all-time leading scorer with 1,928 points, eclipsing a mark that had stood for more than 40 years, earning four All-UAA honors and a spot on the conference’s Silver Anniversary team
Danielle Fitzpatrick ’04, women’s basketball, was the first All-American in team history after finishing among the top 10 in career points and rebounds. Another UAA Silver Anniversary team member, she led the Judges to their first ECAC title in 2004, starting a string of six-straight postseason appearances.
