In keeping with the University's COVID-19 policies, several updates have been made to Brandeis Athletics winter schedule.
An IFA gold medalist and two-time Northeast Fencing Conference champion, Damien Lehfeldt is a manager and consultant in the Northern Virginia area who is still active as a fencing coach as well.
The Judges erased a nine-point deficit entering the fourth period, but couldn't complete the comeback. Camila Casanueva led the Judges with 13 points, while Emma Reavis had a great all-around game with six points, six rebounds, five assists, two blocks and two steals.
Caitlin Gresko was second on the team with 14 points and two assists and grabbed four rebounds, but it wasn't enough.
Camila Casanueva became the 10th player in school history to reach the milestone, and the first since 2010.
Donald Soffer gave Brandeis the largest single donation by an alumnus in school history in 2008. He returned to campus last November to check in on recipients of the Soffer Scholarships.
This marks the eighth straight time the Judges have been among the top 50 in the Learfield Director's Cup standings.
Because of positive COVID-19 tests, the Brandeis-Clark women's basketball game for Jan. 3 has been postponed. No make-up date has been set. The Judges look to return to the court Jan. 8 against NYU.
It's the first-ever trip for the women's team, known as BANSHEE, and the fifth for the men, a/k/a TRON.
The Judges' previous record for the fall season was 50.
