Hartford, Conn. (courtesy Trinity sports information)- The Trinity College Baseball team scored eight runs on seven hits and committed no errors in an 8-4 win over the Brandeis University Judges on Wednesday night at Murren Family Field at DiBenedetto Stadium. Trinity improves to 20-5 overall while the Judges fall to 12-14. Trinity returns to the diamond on Friday for a game at home versus Salve Regina. 

Trinity scored all eight of its runs in innings three through six and took advantage of five Brandeis errors. Junior Brett Stevenson (Southport, Conn.) led the Bantams with a 2-for-2 night, driving in a run and scoring once. Senior CF Geoff Stillman (Scituate, Mass.) also collected a pair of hits, one of which was an RBI-double in the home half of the fourth. 

First-year Jimmy Fahey (Danbury, Conn.) got the nod for the Bantams on the bump and threw 2.2 innings and struck out three before handing the ball to classmate Cameron Crowley (Downers Grove, Ill.). Crowley threw 2.1 innings out of the pen and allowed just a single hit, earning his fourth win of the season. 

The Bantams held an 8-0 lead until the top of the ninth when the Judges put up four runs but fell short of the comeback. Mike Khoury (East Bridgewater, Mass.) highlighted the inning with a three-run jack to right field.
