WALTHAM, Mass. – Recent Brandeis University graduate Erin Magill of Moretown, Vermont, will be making her third career NCAA Championship appearance later this week when she participates in the 5,000-meter run at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships at the SPIRE Institute in Cleveland, Ohio.

Magill has earned All-America honors in her two previous trips to the NCAA Championships. At the 2021 Division III Cross Country meet, she placed 36^th overall, helping the Judges to a 20^th-place finish. During the 2022 Indoor Track and Field championships, she placed sixth in the 5K with a time of 16:54.62, then a career-best and the second-fastest time in school history. Magill won University Athletic Association championships in the 5,000-meters both indoors and outdoors.

Magill's fastest time this outdoor season was run at the NEICAAA Championships on May 13^th, when she won the title with a time of 16:52.26. Magill will be seeded 15^th at the NCAA Championships with that time, third among New England competitors and second among UAA runners. Magill was seeded 10^th at the indoor meet when she earned her second All-America honor.

The women's 5,000-meter championship race will be the final individual race of the meet. It will be held on Saturday, May 28^th at 3 p.m.

Magill is a 2018 graduate of Harwood Union High School.
