WALTHAM, Massachusetts — The Brandeis University volleyball team swept both of its Homecoming matches on Saturday, beating Gordon, 3-0, and UMass-Dartmouth, 3-0. With the wins, the Judges move to 10-6, and finish up their home schedule with a record of 9-3. Gordon is now 11-8, and UMass-Dartmouth is 8-9.
AGAINST GORDON (25-15, 25-22, 25-15)

Rookie Marissa Borgert (Blaine, Minn. / Spring Lake Park) had a match-high nine kills; sophomore Emma Bartlett (Duxbury, Mass. / Duxbury) had eight.

Juniors Marlee Nork (Chicago, Ill. / Walter Payton College Prep) and Leah Pearlman (El Paso, Texas / El Paso) split setting duties for the Judges. Nork had 14 assists and Pearlman had 12.

Junior Yvette Cho (San Diego, Calif. / Rancho Bernardo) had a team-high 13 digs.

Cho had four service aces, all of which came at the beginning of the first set as Brandeis jumped out to a 7-0 lead. Borgert had three aces of her own

Bartlett was part of six successful blocks for the match, assisting on five and handling the job herself on an additional one.

AGAINST UMASS-DARTMOUTH (25-14, 26-24, 25-10 )

Junior Zara Platt (Fountain Valley, Calif. / Fountain Valley) was the sole player on both teams to achieve double-digit kills, amassing a career-high 11 kills.

Nork led all comers in assists, with 20. Pearlman and freshman Megan Osorio Moran (Hollywood, Fla. / St. Thomas Aquinas) also helped out their teammates, with eight and seven assists, respectively.

Cho once again had a team-high 13 digs.
